Refund policy

 

We endeavour to supply as much information as possible about our products and brands to enable you to make an informed decision. We want our customers to feel that they are making a considered choice when shopping with us. Should you need any further information about a specific product, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

Hopefully you will love our products as much as we do, however, should you wish to return an item for any reason, please contact us at hello@shibumiliving.co.uk within 24 hours of receipt, quoting your order number and reason for return. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused, in saleable condition and in its original packaging. Certain items are not eligible for Returns, please see Exceptions below.

The cost of Return postage is payable by the customer. We recommend you return goods via registered post, preferably in the original postal packaging, as we cannot refund items that are lost or damaged in return transit.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us within 24 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as personal care goods (ie. skincare, bath & body products etc), housekeeping products, due to health and hygiene considerations. Ceramics are also non returnable. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund has been approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund too.
